VS Athens: Desert Blitz

First things first.
Just want can this runt do?
Daniel knew nothing about Holly's battling prowess, but for the Goldenrod Game Corner Cashier's description of "kind of... feisty?". Was she even worth keeping around for so long?
As soon as the gambler hit the shores of the Challenger Chain and got a decent look around of what is what and where, he set out looking for an opponent to test Holly's skills. His search took him to the outskirts of the Challenger Island desert and it was here that he found someone willing to battle him. Introducing himself as a coordinator and trainer, the strange man donning a suit, thick black cape and odd dragon-like mask, agreed to battle Daniel with his Marowak.
The battle was going smoothly, as the little Abra held her ground against the much more experienced Cyrano. Both Pokemon moved along the desert grounds quickly, with their trainers in hot pursuit. A couple minutes into the match, Holly's expression changed and her fingers flickered with a charging Psyshock and it was then that Daniel caught up with the coordinator. The tides of battle were about to change. "You know, this match is really well balanced; what do you say we make it a little more... exciting...?"

First IPL battle for Daniel; Holly the Abra vs Cyrano the Marowak!
Holly is using lazor hands Psyshock, Cyrano is using Bone Rush.

Aaah, I had a pickle with this, I had the underpaint lying around for a couple days before I managed to properly tackle it with a good color palette. Blue and orange to the rescue, eh?
However the last day of working on this was so much fun and strangely relaxing, even though I didn't leave myself as much time as I should have to finish up an illu. Never the less, good show, good battle, AND GREAT OPPONENT, check out Athens' entry HERE! That dynamic, oh man.
